Team USA Athletes to Watch #
Adam Manilla (#3)
Adam comes into this event ranked No. 3 in the world, a career high. He’s riding momentum after reaching the singles and doubles finals (with partner Jake Bredenbeck) at his home club in Pleasanton, California. This weekend, he’ll compete in doubles with junior team assistant coach Bobby Horn. Based in the Bay Area, this lefty-righty duo will be a fun team to watch.
Jake Bredenbeck (#9)
Ranked No. 9, Jake is looking to bounce back after a challenging season last year. His experience as a veteran gives him the tools to climb back into semifinal and final appearances. Jake will also reunite with his brother, Sam Bredenbeck, in doubles—a powerful combination of Sam’s backhand and Jake’s forehand.
Thomas Carter (#10)
Thomas has been steadily climbing and is looking for a breakout performance. Fresh off a Tier 2 win in Garden City, Kansas, where he upset Adam Manilla, Thomas is ready to carry that momentum into Sioux Falls. In doubles, he’ll pair with longtime partner Jaime Martell, a duo known for their chemistry and athleticism.
