Jim Hiser | Colorado Springs, Colorado (Contributor, Inducted 2018) Dr. Hiser, 70, of Colorado Springs, CO, has dedicated over 40 years to the sport of Racquetball as a tournament director in the state of Michigan, member of the National Board of Directors, Commissioner of both the Men’s and Women’s Professional Tours, the Technical Director of the International Racquetball Federation and Executive Director of USA Racquetball. Hiser's contributions to the sport include: authoring the first National Referee test, the first National Officiating Guidebook, Co-Author of the first national teaching certification program with Connie Martin and countless training videos on the sport of Racquetball. He was also responsible for creating the 3-foot service line which started at 5 feet. During his tenure, he also coached elite U.S. Team athletes, was the Director of the National Elite Training camp for 25 years and created the Junior National Racquetball Team of which he was a head coach.

Leo & Susan Klimaitis | Barrington Hills, Illinois (Contributor, Inducted 2018) Leo Klimaitis, 70, and Susan Klimaitis, 69, of Barrington Hills, IL and Naples, FL, have been behind the scenes supporters of Racquetball in the Chicago area and throughout the country for over 30 years. With their support, the 4-wall glass portable court used at the United HealthCare US OPEN each year was developed and brought to fruition to showcase the sport of Racquetball worldwide. The portable court has been featured outside in downtown Denver, CO, at the Navy Pier in Chicago, IL, as well as at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. They have supported USA Racquetball, the IRT, LPRT and WRT events for decades, but have also been huge supporters of the charities with which each of these organizations partner. Without their contributions, USA Racquetball would not be the viable National Governing Body that it is today.
