The first NorCal outdoor doubles series shoot out occurred at Hilmar High School in Hilmar, CA on Saturday 3/27/21. No less than 36 players showed up on a beautiful day to play some three wall in the California sun.
Two divisions (Upper and Lower) competing for cash prizes.
In the Upper Division: 10 doubles teams competed on the day. They played two groups of 5 RR to determine a knockout bracket. In the knockout round semis:
- Greg Vezey/Scott Warren topped Erica Williams/Walter Ramos 15-6
- Corey Vaughn/Mitch Forrest topped Frank Biehl/Izzy Torres
In the Final, Vezey/Warren topped Vaughn/Forrest 11-2, 11-9 to take the title.

In the Lower Division, 8 teams competed, playing one big RR to determine the playoff seedings. IN those knockout semis:
- Miguel Ramirez/Manny Sandoval defeated Sal Alejandre/Joe Lopez 11-9
- Ivan Velazquez/Hein Doan defeated Frank Melo/Ray Franco 11-7
In the final, Velazquez/Doan took Ramirez/Sandoval in a tiebreaker 10,(4),5.
