USA Racquetball Board of Directors Seats New Board, Elects Officers at Annual Meeting in Pleasanton, CA

Pleasanton, California -- In conjunction with the USA Racquetball National Indoor Championships, the USA Racquetball Board of Directors gathered on May 13, 2025, for their Annual Meeting. 

Board President Stewart Solomon and Independent Director Steve Czarnecki exited after adjournment of the meeting, having served the maximum of six consecutive years as stipulated in the USA Racquetball Bylaws. Both take with them the gratitude of the Board and the Association for their support and dedication.

The Board welcomes back Cindy Tilbury as an Executive Appointed Director after her bylaws-mandated two-year hiatus from the Board.

Once the regular meeting was adjourned, the new Board, comprised of 11 members (7 elected/appointed directors plus 4 athlete representatives), reconvened to conduct officer elections.

All four officer positions were open for election.

Congratulations to new USA Racquetball Board President Kristin Wattz and Vice President Karen Grisz as well as returning Treasurer Sandy Rios. Cheryl Kirk continues in her role as Secretary of the Association.

For those not competing here in California this week, please visit the USA Racquetball Facebook page frequently, Wednesday through Sunday, for live streaming of select U.S. Team Qualifying matches. Champions and Runners-Up in Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles as well as Mixed Doubles will be crowned as champions this weekend and will take their places on the U.S. Adult National Team effective June 1, 2025.

Additionally, the Hall of Fame inductions of Christie Huczek and Dave Negrete will take place on Saturday morning. The festivities will include Annual Awards and will be live-streamed as well.
