The wait is almost over. Outdoor Nationals returns to Marina Park in Huntington Beach, California, July 10–12, 2026, for another unforgettable weekend of competition, camaraderie, and outdoor racquetball.

Now in its 52nd year, Outdoor Nationals remains one of the sport's most iconic events, bringing together players from across the country to compete on the courts just steps from the Pacific Ocean. Whether you're a longtime participant or making your first trip to Huntington Beach, Outdoor Nationals offers a tournament experience unlike any other.

Honoring the Past, Building the Future

This year's event marks a new chapter for Outdoor Nationals. Longtime event directors Jesus Ustarroz and Geoff Osberg have chosen to take a well-deserved break after years of dedication to the event and the outdoor racquetball community.

Rather than see this beloved tradition pause, the 3WallBall team has stepped in to continue the event and ensure its future remains bright. Players will still see many familiar faces, including Mary Schoumaker, Dorcy Norton, Stephen Fitzsimons, and Lou Orosco, while welcoming new team members Rob Craig, Jennie Cohagen, Kristin Wattz, and Mike and Karen Grisz.

The goal is simple: preserve everything players love about Outdoor Nationals while building a strong foundation for years to come.

More Matches, More Fun

The tournament will feature singles and doubles competition with most divisions using a pool play format that advances into playoffs, giving players more opportunities to compete throughout the weekend. Championship matches will be held Sunday afternoon.

In addition to great racquetball, players can enjoy an ice cream social, complimentary pizza, and the unique atmosphere that has made Outdoor Nationals a must-attend event for generations.

New Divisions and Paddleball Returns

Following strong participation at Beach Bash, two new divisions are being added for 2026:

75 Pro for players competing in Pro divisions

75 Warriors for players not competing in Pro divisions who are looking for highly competitive play

Paddleball also returns to Outdoor Nationals with a $1,500 prize purse on the line. Paddleball matches will take place Saturday, with finals scheduled for Sunday. Entry fees are the same as amateur racquetball divisions.
