2026 Outdoor National Championships & World Championships Recap

The 52nd Annual 3WallBall Outdoor National Championships & World Championships returned to Marina Park in Huntington Beach, California, bringing together many of the sport's top outdoor players for an exciting weekend of competition. From championship performances to Hall of Fame honors, the event showcased the very best of outdoor racquetball.

Pro/Open Champions

Men's Pro Doubles

The Men's Pro Doubles division featured an impressive field of outdoor legends and championship-caliber talent, including Greg Solis, Ravi Sohoni, Brandon Davis, Josh Tucker, Rocky Carson, Jesus Ustarroz, and Brian Pineda.

Defending champions Kane Waselenchuk and Chris McDonald once again proved to be the team to beat. After powering through the bracket, they defeated Brandon Davis and Josh Tucker in the championship match, winning 15-12, 15-3 to capture their second consecutive title together and Kane's third straight Outdoor Nationals championship.

Women's Open Doubles

The Women's Open Doubles competition featured four evenly matched teams competing in a round-robin format. With three teams finishing group play at 2-1, point differential determined the championship matchup.

Karen Grisz and Marie Gomar made the most of their opportunity, avenging an earlier round-robin loss to Sandra Ramos Mowry and Susie Boulanger to earn their first Outdoor National title together.

Mixed Open Doubles

Martha McDonald and her son, Jack McDonald, successfully defended their 2025 Mixed Open Doubles championship. After finishing second in group play following a loss to Adrianna Moncada and Georges Barrera, the mother-son duo earned a rematch in the final and turned the tables to repeat as champions.

Other Division Highlights

Several additional divisions delivered memorable performances throughout the weekend:

CPRT Doubles: Kane Waselenchuk and Chris McDonald completed an impressive championship sweep, defeating Rocky Carson and Jesus Ustarroz in the final.

Men's 75+ Doubles: Brothers Chris and Jack McDonald captured the title with a victory over Lou Orosco and Max Heymann.

Men's 100+ (Centurion): One of the tournament's largest divisions featured 13 teams. Miguel Arriola and Tony Hernandez rallied after dropping the opening game 15-0 to defeat Scott St. Clair and Tony Burg in a thrilling three-game final.

Men's Open Doubles: Brandon Davis and Brian Pineda earned the championship with a hard-fought victory over Greg Solis and Lou Orosco.

Hall of Fame Class of 2026

A special congratulations goes to the 2026 World Outdoor Racquetball Hall of Fame inductees, Kevin Booth and Greg Freeze, who were honored during Saturday's induction ceremony.

Both athletes have enjoyed decades of success and have made lasting contributions to outdoor racquetball. Their achievements and dedication to the sport make them truly deserving members of the Hall of Fame.
