Much Gratitude to our Team USA Athletes

Once again this year, the athletes stepped up with fundraising on their own to cover the lion’s share of their trip expenses to represent us all as Team USA. Although the USA Racquetball budget couldn’t cover the entire cost of the trip along with a number of other grow-the-sport initiatives and international competitions this coming year, we were proud to partner with the athletes to help lessen the financial impact of the trip. These seven U.S. Team members are simply amazing, so dedicated to our sport and to their fans across the United States.

After eight consecutive days of competition that began with an Individual format for the first five days and continued with three more days of team competition, the results unfolded as follows:

PARC RESULTS – INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

Note: In IRF and PARC tournaments, semifinalists in the Individual competition phase are both awarded Bronze medals (no 3rd place playoffs). This is a long-standing practice that provides well-deserved recognition to athletes and their countries and assists many national federations in being able to financially support their elite athletes’ racquetball careers.

“As the Pan American Racquetball Championship in Guatemala comes to a close, we take a moment to proudly reflect on Team USA’s incredible journey. Our athletes showcased not just talent but resilience, heart, and unity throughout every match.

“Behind every performance is a team effort. A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding physical therapist, BettyLou DeYoung, whose expert care kept our players performing at their best. BettyLou, your constant support, energy, and dedication behind the scenes made a huge difference!

“This tournament was about more than just medals. It was about pushing limits, growing together, and representing our country with pride. We leave Guatemala not only proud of what we’ve achieved but inspired for what lies ahead. Team USA’s journey continues!”
