US Junior Racquetball Team Trains for World Championships

The USA Racquetball Junior National Team recently concluded a series of intense training sessions in Colorado Springs, CO at the United States Olympic Committee Training Center.

Kane Returns To The International Racquetball Tour

Kane Waselenchuk is not only the world’s most talented racquetball player, but he works as hard as anyone to make sure he brings that every time he steps on the court. And now that time has come for the three-time World Champion and three-time US OPEN Champion to make his return back to the sport of professional racquetball. Don't believe he will be anything less than 100 percent for the opening of the Men's International Racquetball Tour (IRT) starting with the 2008 Motorola IRT World Racquetball Championships presented by Verizon Wireless.

IRF 2008 World Championships

The 14th IRF World Championships 2008 concluded as nearly 200 players representing 30 countries competed for coveted gold medals in singles and doubles as well as points for team/country awards.

Carson Wins WOR

Rocky Carson captured his fifth World Outdoor National singles title (’02, ’04, ’06, 07) by winning the 2008 WOR Ektelon Racquetball Championships in Huntington Beach, CA. Carson, who is currently ranked as the number one men’s professional racquetball player in the world, indoor and outdoor, defeated fellow indoor player Alvaro Beltran in the finals.

The 14th International Racquetball Federation (IRF) 2008 World Championships concluded as nearly 200 players representing 30 countries competed for coveted gold medals in singles and doubles as well as points for team/country awards.

The USA Racquetball Grand Gala Hall of Fame 35th Anniversary Celebration Banquet and Awards Ceremony was a night to remember for all in attendance.
NMRA Chamipioships

The 2008 National Masters Racquetball Association (NMRA) International Racquetball Championships are underway at the Wisconsin Athletic Club in West Allis, WI. This is a major championship event with nearly 160 players from across the country competing in over 30 divisions in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

Jack Huczek finished the Men's IRT season by winning the 2008 Motorola IRT Pro Nationals. The new four wall Lucite racquetball court made it's debut as spectators were able to watch from both side walls, the backwall, and the FRONT WALL for maximum viewing.

Cheryl Gudinas-Holmes Captures Her Seventh Championship

The 2008 USA Racquetball National Singles Racquetball Championships concluded on Monday as Gold medals were awarded in 74 championship divisions. The Men's and Women's U.S. Team Qualifying divisions also earn one-year appointments to the U.S. National Racquetball Team.

The women took center stage as Cheryl Gudinas-Holmes defeated Kristen Bellows in the championship finals, 15-2, 15-5.

The 2008 USA Racquetball National Intercollegiate Racquetball Championships presented by Penn Racquet concluded Saturday at the Athletic Club of Overland Park in Overland Park, Kansas.

The tournament featured nearly 300 of the country’s best college racquetball players representing 46 colleges and universities from across the country.
